Class Descriptions

Yoga was developed in ancient India to unify the body and mind with the universal spirit.

An excellent way to increase physical and mental well-being, yoga can be practiced by people of all ages.

Yoga involves a series of stretching postures (called asanas), breath work and meditation.

Karen will guide students through a modified version of the Primary Series of the Ashtanga Series where the student has the freedom to enhance and deepen their personal practice. All levels are welcome to enjoy the simplicity of this nurturing and gentle asana flow. Focus is on stretching, breath work and relaxation on this very personal journey .
Striving is what it's all about,  with the emphasis on enhancing well being and to honor, respect and listen to the body.
Practice ends with deep relaxation and Savasna.  Bring a mat and wear loose comfortable clothing.
